The purpose of Yanbian People's Publishing House is: based in Yanbian, facing the Korean people in China, with the fundamental task of promoting Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and Theory of Three Represents, popularizing scientific and cultural knowledge, enriching and improving people's spiritual and cultural life, serving socialism, serving the people and contributing to the construction of two civilizations.
Since its establishment 57 years ago, Yanbian People's Publishing House has gone through a glorious course of continuous development and growth under the brilliant illumination of the party's ethnic policy. More than 200 Korean books and more than 0/00 Chinese books are published every year. In the past 57 years, nearly 8,000 books have been published, and various Korean publications and series have been founded. The copyrights of all kinds of books have been transferred overseas, and some kinds of books are well-known in China, and our books can be seen all over the country, initially achieving the goal of "based in Yanbian and facing China".
With the pace of reform and development of China's publishing industry and the coming of the 11th Five-Year Plan, Yanbian People's Publishing House has implemented new reform measures. By strengthening team building, highlighting folk language publishing, improving and perfecting business model, vigorously promoting project construction, relying on scientific and technological progress and other measures, we strive to build a good environmental foundation for stable and rapid development, aiming at excavating national cultural heritage and making new and greater contributions to the prosperity and development of North Korea's publishing.
