Bengbu University, approved by the Ministry of Education, is an ordinary undergraduate college with the coordinated development of engineering, science, management, literature, teaching and art. In 2004, the school merged with Bengbu College, Bengbu Education College and Bengbu Staff University and was renamed Bengbu College. In 20 19, the school was formally incorporated into the construction unit of Anhui provincial master's degree program.

By the end of 20 19 and 10, the school covers an area of128 mu, with a campus construction area of 370,000 square meters, with 3 100 square meters to be declared for construction, total fixed assets of 650 million yuan and total teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment10. There are 53 undergraduate majors in the school, covering 7 disciplines including engineering, science, management, economics, literature, art and education.
