Beijing Agricultural College, formerly known as Tongxian Agricultural School in Hebei Province, was founded in 1956. From 65438 to 0958, Tongxian Agricultural School in Hebei Province merged with Beijing Agricultural Cooperative Cadre School and was renamed Beijing Agricultural School. 65438-0965 Beijing Agricultural Labor University was established on the basis of Beijing Agricultural School.

1978 was renamed as Beijing Agricultural College with the approval of the State Council. The school now covers an area of about 1000 mu, including the headquarters, east campus, north campus and university science park market. In addition, the school has a thousand acres of university science park farm and a million acres of university science park forest farm. The school has been awarded the titles of Beijing Garden Unit, Beijing Civilized Campus, Capital Civilized Unit Model and National Civilized Unit.

School profile: The school has more than 8,400 full-time students, and the library has nearly 900,000 paper books and 2.4 million electronic books. Over the past 60 years, nearly 50,000 outstanding graduates trained by the school have taken root at the grassroots level and become the backbone of the capital's economic and social development, especially the development of agricultural industry.
