Anhui Lujiang No.1 Middle School was founded in 1903, formerly known as Lujiang Middle School Hall. After several changes, it was renamed as "Lujiang Middle School in Anhui Province" on 1952. The old campus of the school is located in Lucheng Town, Lujiang County, covering an area of 140 mu, with a total construction area of 40,542 square meters. The new campus of the school is located in the east of Lucheng and has been completed and put into use.

In recent years, the school has built a modern teaching building equipped with two-way closed-circuit television teaching and teaching evaluation system-Yifu Building and a library with 90,000 books, as well as a first-class physical and chemical laboratory, computer room, electric classroom and language lab. Campus network and radio and television communication network have basically taken shape. Four student apartments and six teacher apartments have been built, and a 400-meter standard sports ground, eight runways and a campus cultural square have been rebuilt.
