Basic situation of track line 3
According to Chongqing Urban and Rural Master Plan (2007-2020) (2011revised) (referred to as Master Plan for short), Line 3 starts from eastern Chongqing and passes through nine kilometers, four kilometers, two intersections, Guanyin Bridge, Chongqing North Railway Station, Erma Road, Jiangbei Airport and Juju.
The three main lines of the track (Yudong to Jiangbei Airport) and the airport branch line (Bijin to Jurenba) have been put into operation, with a total length of about 67 kilometers.
This line is the north-south traffic backbone of the main city. At present, the average daily passenger traffic is about 900,000 passengers on weekdays, and the peak passenger traffic is close to1654.38+10,000 passengers. The operating pressure is huge. The section from Zhengjiayuan to 6 km (about 15 km) is normally crowded, and the average standing density of carriages during peak hours exceeds 5 people/square meter.
