Experience is also a verb, indicating the present situation. Experience is the basis of effective learning and is very important. The second is "listening". Effective learning means that students listen to what they often say and encourage them to use English for daily communication, thus breaking the old "dumb English". The third is "activity". Student-centered activities are actually the basic form of English. In our teaching design, what matters is not how the teacher explains, but how the students act. The fourth is "re-creation". The process of learning is a process of re-creation, not a simple imitation and memory.
Effective teaching can also be summarized in six words: First, "students" have students in their hearts. The second is "development", the development of students, including the development of teachers themselves. The third is "process", the learning process of students. As long as teachers can keep students in mind and always pay attention to their development and learning process, students will become the protagonists of learning and effective teaching will be realized.
The book Design Principles, Strategies and Evaluation of Effective Teaching focuses on how to make autonomous learning, inquiry learning and cooperative learning advocated by the new curriculum really enter the classroom. This paper introduces the theory and teaching strategy of western classroom design, summarizes the experience of domestic classroom teaching reform, and provides practical guidance and help for us to carry out effective classroom design.
Before that, I was vague about the concepts of teaching strategy, teaching method and teaching mode. Through learning, I have a clear understanding of teaching strategies, teaching methods, teaching models and other concepts. Teaching mode often contains internal components, mainly including teaching theoretical basis, teaching objectives, teaching procedures, realization conditions, effect evaluation and so on. Generally speaking, the teaching mode is a simplified and theoretical teaching mode. Teaching strategy is a systematic decision-making activity for teachers to achieve teaching objectives according to the characteristics of teaching situations. () It is different from the teaching mode. Teaching strategy guides teaching activities through "adjustment", and its connotation is richer than that of teaching mode.
Teaching mode is a relatively stereotyped teaching paradigm with certain realization conditions and relative stability. In contrast, teaching strategies are relatively flexible, which can be adjusted according to the changes of goals, and sometimes even break the shackles of teaching models and make changes according to the changes of situations. At the same time, there is a certain connection between them. Teaching mode affects the choice of teaching strategy, and the construction and use of teaching strategy also contributes to the formation of teaching mode.
Teaching method is the general name of the interactive activities between teaching and learning taken by teachers and students to complete teaching goals and tasks in the teaching process. After reading Design Principles, Strategies and Evaluation of Effective Teaching, I learned a lot about pedagogy. At the same time, I deeply feel that familiar teaching methods and laws are increasingly difficult to meet the needs of educational reform. The development of the times challenges the role orientation of teachers, and teachers are becoming more and more a learning role. In this era of innovation, the only constant truth is continuous learning and innovation.
