2. Compensation
Readers who can't buy the original book can pay the book compensation at the main service desk on the second floor according to the following "calculation standard of book compensation amount".
Calculation standard of book compensation amount:
① General books shall be compensated at 4 times of the original price.
2 Reference books, foreign language books and books with only two volumes in the collection shall be compensated at 6 times of the original price.
③ If there is only one volume in the collection, and multiple volumes (sets and volumes) are lost, 10 times of the original price shall be compensated.
(4) Books published without pricing before1989 shall be priced according to the number of pages. Chinese 16 format 8 points per page, 32 format 4 points per page; Photocopying in foreign languages 16 folio 1 corner per page, 5 points per page for 32 folio; Foreign original books, color picture albums and atlas, regardless of the size of the format, 5 yuan per page; 5 yuan binding fee is charged for all kinds of hardcover books.
⑤ If the original lost book is found within two months after the compensation procedure, you can go to the library for refund with the compensation receipt. The overdue period is calculated from the date of compensation to the date of refund, and it shall be handled according to the relevant provisions of the overdue period; The compensation receipt is lost or not returned for more than two months;
⑥ Periodical losses shall be treated as compensation for book losses.
