Bashu Bookstore, namely Sichuan Ancient Books Publishing House, was established in August of 1983, and it is a professional ancient books publishing house dedicated to sorting out and publishing China ancient cultural classics. Since its establishment, the publishing house has edited and published more than a thousand kinds of academic monographs, reference books and precious classic documents with the aim of promoting Chinese excellent traditional culture. The "2 1 1 project" of Sichuan University published by the publishing house includes China classical philology research series, China history research series, ancient writing research series, Bashu culture research series and South Asia research base series, Southwest Normal University, Sichuan Normal University academic research series, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism doctoral thesis series, and China. In addition to academic monographs and ancient books sorting projects, for many years, the publishing house has also opened up a mass reading market with traditional culture as the main body, and published a series of famous books guide, a series of readers' appreciation of famous books, a series of China classical literature essence, a series of selected translations of ancient literary and historical masterpieces, a series of selected translations of modern literary and historical masterpieces, a small series of China traditional culture, a treasure house of world classic literary masterpieces (pinyin readers) and a series of modern comprehension of traditional culture, which are well received by readers. 100 Many books have won national and provincial awards.
