Another method is to pry open the adhesive and take out the magnetic stripe, but this can only be done very carefully. In fact, these adhesives are not very sticky, just because they stick to the page. Once the force is too large, the page will stick. In my experience, the steps should be like this: break this page as far as possible, and then slowly separate the two pages with your palm. In this case, after being stressed, the glue will slowly crack from the middle (because there are several magnetic strips in the middle, which are not sticky). After complete separation, gently peel off the sticky part on only one side of the magnetic strip with your nails and slowly remove it. Then, slowly follow the direction of the glue with your fingertips. Once the glue is removed, even if the book is finished, there is no magnetic stripe at all, and it is finished.

Of course, some low-level book thieves will tear these two pages directly, which is unprofessional.

We usually see that in the cashier's office, the bookstore assistant will brush the bar code on the back cover with a reader with a nozzle. In fact, first, this is to read the bar code information, and second, it is also close to the hidden magnetic stripe in the book and degaussed at the same time. The information in the bar code is the serial number of the book, and the bookstore will know what books are sold, which is convenient for statistics and replenishment. The information in the magnetic stripe is very simple, that is, the book has been paid, you can take it out of the bookstore, and then add a stamp on the last page.
