The library of Nanjing University of Science and Technology can be traced back to 1953, formerly known as the reference room of the Artillery Engineering Department of China PLA Military Engineering College.

In the east of the library hall, there is a row of self-service inquiry machines for readers to search and query books. At the same time, you can also query books through the library official website and the mobile phone library APP. There is a general service desk on the west side of the hall to provide consultation and other services for readers.

2. Collection resources

By the end of 20 17, the total paper collection of the library was more than 2.6 million volumes, including Chinese and foreign books/kloc-0.89 million volumes, more than 2,000 Chinese and foreign periodicals, ancient books/kloc-0.70 million volumes and ancient books/kloc-0.50 million volumes.

There are more than 60 Chinese and foreign electronic databases/kloc-0, including more than 6 million Chinese and foreign electronic books and more than 35,000 Chinese and foreign electronic full-text periodicals.
