Jingdezhen Library was founded in March 1954 and rebuilt after March 1969, covering an area of 23.7 million square meters. In May 2000, with the approval of Jingdezhen Municipal Government, the old library was demolished. In June 2002, the new library was completed. Jingdezhen Library is a new library with a building area of 6,800 square meters, which was officially opened to the public in 2004. Jingdezhen Library is the largest comprehensive public library with the largest collection in Jingdezhen, and it is the center of literature, book cataloging, inter-library cooperation, library science research, information exchange and professional training in the city. The library has a lending department, a collection and editing network technology department, a special collection department, a children's department, a research counseling department and an office. There are 34 employees in the library, including 2 senior titles, 3 intermediate titles/kloc-0 and 7 junior titles.
