Since its establishment, with the strong support of the Ministry of Culture, the Association has organized, planned and held a large number of foreign folk cultural exchange projects and activities in accordance with its articles of association, involving performing arts, plastic arts, book publishing, personnel exchange, international cultural seminars and various international multilateral activities.

The Association has established close friendly and cooperative relations with many foreign folk cultural organizations and related institutions, such as Portuguese Oriental Foundation, Avis Foundation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Japan Fund for International Exchange, Japan-China Friendship Hall, Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Center, Danish Cultural Society, Hungarian-Chinese Economic and Cultural Exchange and Development Association, Korean Cultural Promotion Agency, Turkish Aidendong Foundation, Zhaqing Sports Center in Ermenc, Tunisia, Colombian Cali Cultural Promotion Association, Cape Verde-China Friendship Association, Netherlands-China Friendship Association, Thai-Chinese Cultural Economy and so on.

The association actively carries out various cultural exchange activities. Up to now, the association's delegation has visited more than 40 countries, including Hungary, Turkey, Vietnam, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and South Korea, and sent more than 100 art groups including various operas to perform abroad. More than 40 exhibitions were held, including Rodin Art Exhibition, China Photography Exhibition in the Eyes of Foreigners, China Youth Contemporary Art Exhibition, Portuguese Oriental Mask Exhibition, Yellow River-Nakamura Zhen Fu Exhibition, Yuanming Shiguang-Yuanmingyuan Special Exhibition, etc. He has published more than 0/0 volumes of books/kloc-and actively introduced excellent foreign cultures, and invited Japan, France and Yuanmingyuan.
