environmental testing
That's environmental monitoring.

For general pollutants, take data every eight hours (three data per day) or six hours (four data per day) and find the arithmetic average.

According to the nature of monitoring, refer to different pollutant detection methods and standards.

Generally, there are industry standards for monitoring. If the indoor air is checked for domestic pollution, the monitoring requirements are not high. You can use an instrument that can output data immediately. If the requirements are high, look at the indoor environment standard manual to see if there are any special regulations.

There are no special rules. Just go to the library to find a textbook on environmental monitoring and look at data processing.
