This is the authoritative information reprinted from Renren.com, handwritten by senior students, which is very valuable!
/kloc-a guide for freshmen of grade 0/0 welcomes comrades to share their relative entertainment source: Gao Jianzhe's Diary of Fentu South.
I am not busy these days. By the way, I'll take care of the children. Don't pat the brick. Suggestions for revision are welcome. Please leave a message.
Welcome new students, this article is not boring, but also emotional. Everything in it is in kind, so children are advised to look at it carefully.
Xianlin Campus officially opened in July 2009 1, which is relatively new! Now from freshman to junior, there are almost all graduate students. In my senior year, some departments will move to the Drum Tower, and it is estimated that some departments will not have to move from 2009 (the reason may be that the centenary celebration is 20 12, and the cough is 20 12! Can be linked with ...), and Pukou Campus has been reserved for Jinling College.
If your parents drive you, a map will be delivered at the door. Last year's route was from the south gate to the east gate, and then you will see your father's sense of direction. This community is square and easy to walk.
We! First of all! Eat! Rice!
There are two canteens in Xianlin Campus, one is opposite the basketball/volleyball court (map 006), where there are 4, 5 and 6 meals (there are numbers on the first floor, and God knows why they are not called elegant things), and the other is behind Building 4, where there are 9 meals (map 0 14). Generally speaking, the food in the canteen has increased by 4569, and of course the price has also increased accordingly.
Ordinary meals hardly suit the appetite of students in China. Personally, I prefer the canteen on the third floor in the south, where the food is more delicious than that downstairs. Of course, there are some special snacks on each floor, such as pancake chaos, duck blood vermicelli soup, mala Tang, barbecue in the evening, casserole, bibimbap, iron plate rice and stir-fry.
There are also 9 iron plate meals (I think only ribs rice is the most suitable, ahahahaha). Of course, compared with six meals, it also has different characteristics, including curry rice, small boiled noodles and casserole. It is not recommended to order in the reception restaurant of No.9 canteen, where the food is not delicious (I am not happy to be forced to eat several times), but inviting any heavyweight guests (such as parents, professors, etc.) is quite ostentatious. If my classmates come, I suggest going to the snack bar on the south side of canteen 6.
If you want to bring a lunch box, you can bring your own lunch box to eat instant noodles when you are hungry at night, right? There is a rice basin in the canteen (in other words, last year I foolishly asked my seniors if they wanted to bring their own rice basin to eat in the canteen).
Muslim restaurants prohibit non-Muslims from entering. If you really want to eat Xinjiang flavor, it is recommended to take the subway to the Muslim restaurant in the campus of Shinan Normal University, where it is pure and delicious! Many Muslims in our school go there to improve. Ha ha.
About fruit
There is a fruit supermarket, which I think is quite expensive and the quality is not particularly ideal. Bananas are either stale or too green, and sometimes they are not bad, depending on your personality. If you are not at home, you can make do with it. The waiter is annoying and doesn't like your choice. I suggest you have the cheek to spend money on fruit, and get your money's worth.
There is a fruit stall behind the dining hall (black dot beside 14 on the map), the price is not bad, the variety is average, and the best thing is that you can pick cherries at will (I always pick cherries one by one). There will be fruit for sale at the main entrance at some time, but the destination is uncertain. There is a barbecue stall outside the door recently. Although the taste is not particularly good, it is at least better than when I first arrived (I dare not eat, if I want to eat the subway, I will just have a meal).
PS: Next to selling fruits, there are also people selling used books. Those who want to purchase goods can go and have a look. Most of them are pirated books, which are very cheap.
Accommodation!
There are many dormitories in the new campus. Freshmen and juniors mainly live in 1~5 building (marked on the map). There are three male dormitories on the west side and two female dormitories on the east side. Each dormitory is divided into two units, A and B. Except those days, I only open one door the rest of the time. I don't think it's cool. There are still six buildings, and I can't mark the exact location. That's the Yuanyang building where men and women live on the first floor. Ahem, forget it. That building is normal.
You need to swipe your campus card when you enter the dormitory. Access time is 23: 30. However, it doesn't matter if you come back later. The boarding house will open the door for you. If you are unlucky, you may be reprimanded (don't be afraid, calm down, I didn't go back from the city until after two o'clock in the middle of the night, and it was nothing, right). Each dormitory is equipped with a public toilet and a water drawing room, which needs to be paid by swiping the campus card. The cost of bathing is calculated by time, 3 seconds 1 cent. The cost of boiling water is calculated according to the flow, and a bottle of water is about 70 cents. The bathroom is open from 13: 30 to 22: 30. There is hot water when you go to fetch water at night. When it is too late (usually after 12 o'clock) or early in the morning (when you get up not too early), the water temperature is not good ... Friendly reminder, you should insert the campus card into the instrument first when you take a shower. Friendly reminder, remember to take the campus card after taking a shower.
The dormitory has six floors, the second to sixth floors are student dormitories, and the first floor is a shop.
Building 1 has a campus card recharge place on the ground floor (the canteen is on the first floor, and the campus card can also be recharged at the entrance of each dormitory, and the library also has one).
There is an education supermarket on the second floor (this is good, better, you know)
There are Industrial and Commercial Bank ATM (Altman), Bank of China ATM and Morning Flower Dinner on the first floor of the three buildings (I don't usually go to this one, it's a bit expensive, and I don't need a receipt).
There is a barber shop on the fourth floor underground (it doesn't matter if boys don't want to take care of it, it's best not to go if they want to have their hair done. . . ), bookstores (magazines are very professional and good, some of them can't be bought in Beijing newsstands) and tea shops (ice products are good, I often go to improve my life haha)
On the first floor of Building Five, there are post offices (East-West Mail in Unicom Business Hall or Tietong Express is more suitable, and I am satisfied), China Mobile Business Hall, China Unicom Business Hall, China Telecom Business Hall, Tang Yao Printing Shop (printing 20 cents, copying 1.5 cents) and so on. Everyone in the supermarket usually teaches supermarkets, but there are some things that supermarkets can't buy.
dormitory
4 rooms, air conditioning, water dispenser, shoe cabinet, lockers, etc. And the space is not very small (skipping rope alone is ok, skipping rope is not). Each dormitory has its own balcony, so it is recommended to bring a little plastic rope when you go. Well, the splint for putting small clothes hangs down (because the original hanging rod is not fixed on the roof).
The room has a bathroom and a cold shower. Make your own arrangements. Your health is very important. Don't go to the dormitory without washing it before. It's not worth taking a cold shower with your dorm buddies and hurting yourself.
Everyone should always clean the toilet, and it is easy to have a strange smell (such as leek smell, slag river noodles smell, etc.). We all have the strange experience that the toilet is cleaner than the sole in our dormitory. Supermarkets sell toilet brushes and toilet cleaners, and talk about good hygiene habits! ! ! Men should be cleaner! ! !
The water dispenser is attached to the wall, so you can heat your own hot water and charge according to the flow (drink it, it's really not very expensive, so you can share it equally if you collect money). Other water charges are not charged. Everyone can use 4 kwh of electricity for free every month, which is a state subsidy. If the power exceeds the standard, they need to buy their own electric cards. The electricity fee is the same as that charged by local residents. Generally, a year's electricity will be charged into the meter at one time, and there will be a notice downstairs when it is almost used up. There is an electric meter outside the dormitory, which can look at the remaining electricity and used water. In fact, the main power consumption is air conditioning, and nothing else. Children in the north should get used to winter. It's really cold, so I always turn on the air conditioner. Summer is better, just one month. Last winter, our dormitory paid 800 yuan for electricity, mostly heating. Ask your parents, this is not expensive. In winter, the heating cost at home is very high, and you have to pay electricity, water and gas bills. Parents are not easy to understand. It is not easy for us to spend enough money to maintain this family every day, and little girls should not bully their boyfriends as meal tickets. I remember that the electricity price was 0.528 yuan.
The key to the dormitory door is inductive, a little purple thing with the school emblem of Nantah printed on one side and the name of the key holder on the other. When you open the door, you need to put the key on the sensor of the door lock. When you hear a "drip", the green light will light up and the back door will open. The door lock needs batteries. It is generally not enough for schools to change batteries once a year. That's pure SB). Also, when the dormitory door is just opened, it may not be opened even if the key is brushed. Just try a few times. .
Dormitory can surf the Internet. Everyone has a network cable and telephone line interface in front of his desk, but only two can be used in a dormitory (our family only has one T T ……), so please prepare a router (you can bring your own, we bought one together, wired routing is more suitable, if you like wireless, then bring your own). Network cables are also sold for 5 meters, and it seems that 7 yuan is the most suitable for indoor use. You need to buy an Internet card in China Telecom Business Hall to surf the Internet. 35 yuan money can buy a network card that can surf the Internet for 50 hours. Or buy a tianyi. . If you think the online time per month will exceed 100 hours, then you'd better go to Tianyi. . The school is covered by wireless network everywhere, the dormitory is CMCC, and the mobile phone number can be used (the signal is bad and I want to call names). Teaching building, library, etc. It's the campus network. You can use bras or an agent to access the external network, and bras can be downloaded from the school website. User name is b+ student number, and password is ID number. Bras above the second floor of the library is invalid (only GPRS can be used to access wap). Everyone has 30 hours of free bra online time every month, which can be recharged after use and transferred by campus card. The price is 0.2 yuan/hour, and the price is capped in 20 yuan. If acting as an agent, the address is bproxy.nju.edu.cn and the port is 8080. (Never used this question, please ask Sister Zhang Tianzhu. I am illiterate in this field. )
Let's play!
To put it simply, because the subway passed on May 28th. . People usually go downtown by subway or to Yadong Golden Eagle or something. As for 166 and D 1, it has been basically ignored by everyone to come every 30 minutes. Sometimes you can consider taking D 1 if you go too far. . But Line 2 is obviously convenient. . The bookstore sells subway cards. It seems that all kinds of trains (except taxis) are 10% off, 80 each, including 50 yuan cash (Nanjing is really expensive, a card is 30, Beijing is only 15, alas). The children who want to go out to play are very happy.
As for physical exercise, you can go to the gym by yourself (I guess you don't have the leisure time during military training). There is a gym, and it's not expensive. There are tennis courts and basketball courts behind the four buildings, where you can play your own rackets and balls for free.
Class, class, Tian Tian Sang class.
The teaching building in Xianlin is divided into Xian Yi and Xianer. It will be troublesome to find a classroom at first. It's good to be familiar with it.
Nantah's timetable is as follows:
Every morning, the first class starts at 8: 00, and there is a 50-minute class. Generally, two classes are connected, and the rest time between two classes is 10 minute, and the rest time after a large class is 20 minutes.
The first class in the afternoon is at 2 o'clock. It's good to take a nap! I like taking a nap! If there is a class in the evening, the class in Class 3 usually starts at 6: 00, and the class in Class 2 starts at 6: 30 and ends at almost 8: 30. Therefore, if there is a class at seven or eight in the afternoon and a class at night, children should pay attention to the time of eating. . I never want to see hamburgers at school again.
Reporting and military training.
During the reported two days, the school will have a school bus to pick up new students at the railway station. There is a guest house in Nanda. Parents who don't want to leave too early can stay at 160 for one night, but I think you can let your parents stay in the city. After packing, I can go to the city with my parents and spend the last few days with my parents to eat some Nanjing specialties (my father and I lived in the city last year). When you get to school, there will be a senior senior in our department to pick you up and take you through a series of formalities required for registration, as long as you don't get lost with your senior senior senior ~ ~ (Boy, I really suggest you do this yourself. I made everything myself last year except moving things downstairs. My father helps me with my children. We must stand on our own feet! ! ! Self-reliance! ! ! Stand Up! ! ! Ah! ! ! You can also report one day in advance. It is said that your registration time is on the 4 th and 5 th, which means it is possible to report on the afternoon of the 3 rd. It is suggested to report on the afternoon of the 3 rd and 5 th, which will be very crowded. . I went there on the morning of the 3rd last year. No one did it at that time, and there was no need to queue up. It's been going well. What are you afraid of when a detailed flow chart is sent to you? )
You can stroll around the school for two nights to get familiar with the environment (I have brought countless classmates countless times). Don't be afraid to get lost, because the road in Xianlin is easy to recognize ~ ~ If you are a little scared, you can find a senior or senior you know to take you ~ ~ Welcome to me. . Awkward. . . My mobile phone number: I wrote it earlier. . .
I have been in high school, so I am familiar with it. If you really feel that you can't do it, you can just find a senior or a senior. They must be as willing as saying "I do" when they get married.
The first task you face when you start school is military training! Military training is ok, after all, it is not a holiday ~ pay attention to sun protection and heatstroke prevention, and recommend Watson's deep whitening and moisturizing mask to girls. Currently, 9 pieces are being promoted. 36.6 My sisters all said it was very good. Drink plenty of water and ask the instructor if you feel uncomfortable during training. Don't insist ~ ~ Actually, I'll play when I'm not tired (I strongly recommend buying an insole according to the shoe size after I go).
Schools usually use the evening time of military training to give you some lectures, which are basically expert-level. I advise you not to skip these lectures, because most of them are really great. However, for some reason, all the lectures in our class were cancelled. I went to rest and fell asleep. . . (For details, privately, I am a harmonious article. )
During the military training, I can get to know more classmates, and everyone is more familiar with them ~ ~ I think the new brothers at that time are more interesting than each other.
The school has small language classes on weekends, and the registration time is during military training. Everyone should pay attention to this notice. I remember Spanish, French, Japanese, German, maybe more, but I can't remember. In fact, there are really few small languages that can last until the end, and there are still many freshman assignments. I suggest you register carefully. I don't recommend learning. It doesn't work. You were cheated as soon as you became a senior in our department. You handed it in for a year and didn't attend class next semester.
The School Student Union, the Social Union and the Youth Federation also recruit new students in September. If you are interested, you can try it. Schools, student unions, societies and other groups are a small society. See how you get along, the university learns to be a man here. If you want to exercise your ability, students in the department can also participate and really do something practical. Of course, I have never been to the student union or the social welfare club. I don't know the specific situation, and I don't have much say. You can ask the seniors and sisters who have been in it. I really can't do it in the end. I don't think you should go. It really makes no sense.
Exam. .
On the night of military training, there will be an English proficiency test. The English grading test has the same questions as the college entrance examination, and the difficulty is also simpler than the college entrance examination. Don't worry ~ ~ Graded exams have little effect on everyone, but students in one class will have separate classes in English. The English class is a small class with more than 20 students in each class. According to the test results, everyone is divided into 1, 2, 3 and 4 levels. Generally speaking, it is Grade Two or Three, especially Grade Four (with a score of 90 or above in the graded examination). The difference brought by grading is the examination time of Band 4. Students who have passed CET-4 will take CET-4 in 65438+February in the first semester and Grade-3 in June in the second semester. 1 I don't know. In fact, the school has no hard and fast rules on the time of the grade examination. It really doesn't matter what you take in the exam. You don't have to memorize words desperately, but it doesn't help much. When the time comes, it is estimated that there will be a senior knocking at the door and selling you the exam questions of previous years, one from 5 yuan. I bought it, but later I found it useless. This is a shame.
News from Huai: Students who have passed CET-4 cannot take the online exam! There are foreign teachers in class. I almost forgot, but if you have a 200-word English composition every week and a 2000-word English paper at the end of the term, hurry up! I support you!
In addition, foreign hospitals and Kuangyuan do not take the grading examination.
In addition, there will be some selection exams at the beginning of the semester, such as the selection exam for Li Qiang, such as the selection exam for studying in Singapore (this is good). Specific requirements and standards will be notified. Interested students should be serious and pay attention to them at all times. I'm not sure about the specific exam content either. You can pay attention to these on the educational administration website.
Liberal arts is not an intensive class. I don't suggest you take the Kuangyuan Wenqiang exam again. Why don't I say here that you really want to say my QQ list?
In addition, it seems that starting from the 10 session, the Institute of Chemical Technology will cancel the classes and replace them with the so-called top-notch plan. The specific content can be seen on the educational administration website, so I won't say much here. As for how to choose, I'm not sure. This counselor should say it at the grade meeting.
Club! Club!
The "Hundred Regiments Battle" will be held after the end of military training or a few days near the end. There are many clubs in Nantah, all kinds, you can think of them, you can't think of them. If you are interested, you can also form a club by yourself ~ pick a few that you are interested in ~ but remember not to participate too much. First, some clubs are "not worthy of the name", with beautiful posters and good publicity, but there may be only one activity per semester, or the activities are meaningless, which is essentially different from what you originally imagined; Secondly, taking too many classes will take up a lot of spare time and make you too busy to study. In short, you should think it over before making a decision!
According to the international nuclear accident rating, the activity department of the project department of Central South University is as friendly as home (our philosophy department is a serious scientist). She's sorry I didn't experience it. I don't have a chance. The children are willing to join Central South University with your sister and Zhang. I think life in CSU is also good. This is my friend's experience. I didn't write any comments about the Student Union and CSU. I don't know the details. I always indicate all written opinions.
I want to talk about public relations association here. It seems that I only have meetings twice a year and have done nothing. Membership fee 10 yuan, ridiculous (my dormitory buddy Jia found out he was cheated)
There is a hometown association! ! ! ! !
As long as you pay attention to the tabloids posted by the whole school, you can get together with your hometown people ~ The general hometown meeting is probably in September or 10 ~ I look forward to the Beijing hometown meeting! ! ! Some are organized by your seniors, and some are led by freshmen themselves. Help yourself to the Beijing Hometown Association. I wanted to take part in it then. Ha ha ha ha.
The end of military training, formal classes, marking the official start of college life ~ classes according to the schedule every day! There is nothing to say here. Let's arrange our time and life according to our own situation.
Friendly reminder, there is only one math class in the mid-term exam of the first semester of freshman (some departments can choose math, but people like me who know that math IQ is not enough don't choose it), if you are like us and previous classmates.
For the rest, please post your suggestions in the comments of this blog, and I will supplement the blog according to the suggestions.
Haha, so many words. I hope I can help you ~ ~ ~
Also, you can join a new group! welcome
