The library of Binhai College of Nankai University is located on the bank of Nanxing Lake. Built in 2004, the building area is 1.58 million square meters. The whole library adopts frame column structure, wide platform ladder and towering doorposts, which makes the library look magnificent. Up to now, the library of Binhai College of Nankai University has the largest collection of books in Binhai New Area. The first floor of the library is the editorial department, book processing room and dense stacks; The second floor is the electronic reading room, newspaper reading room, circulation service department and office area; The third floor to the sixth floor is a professional reading room. Readers can not only surf the Internet in the electronic reading room and use all kinds of electronic resources in the library, but also access the Internet through the extranet, and enjoy all the online electronic literature resources provided by Nankai University Library and Tianjin Higher Education Literature Center, which are extremely rich in content. There are 54 seats in the free reading area of electronic resources in the electronic reading room, which can provide teachers and students with free use of the library's own electronic literature resources. For the convenience of readers, there is also a reader service department in the lobby on the second floor of the library, which provides readers with services such as copying and tape re-recording. There is an independent academic discussion room on the fourth floor for readers to use. According to the overall goal and development needs of the college, the library is positioned to build a teaching service-oriented library and give full play to the two functions of library literature information guarantee and management education. "According to disciplines, collective construction; "People-oriented, serving readers" is the principle of library construction, and "solid foundation, standardized management, advanced technology and rich resources" is the goal of library construction. After ten years of development, the library has initially built a new standardized library with high starting point, good reading environment and literature resources covering to meet the teaching needs.
