The formation of big data

Big data, the first is data. Data refers to electronic and digital records and measurements that computers can handle. The process of processing information into electronic and digital records and measurements is inseparable from the development and application of information technology. It is precisely because of the rapid development and wide application of information technology that big data came into being.

Before the advent of computer and communication technology, information was mainly recorded and interacted in the form of analog data. Such as newspapers, books, images and photos, libraries, archives, bookcases and tapes. The unit of measurement of information generally adopts the unit of measurement of media, such as how many books are collected, how many bags of files, how many books are recorded, how many videos, how many photos and so on. The typical characteristics of this period are inconvenient information acquisition, poor information exchange and relatively little information.
