Changchun Normal University is a public ordinary university approved by Jilin Provincial People's Government, and it is the only normal university supported by Jilin Province and Changchun Municipal Government during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period.

Changchun Teachers College was established on 20 15 (Changchun Preschool Teachers College and Changchun Special Education School have the same name after upgrading).
