Qian Xuesen Library, located in Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University, is open to the public on the occasion of the11/kloc-0+010 anniversary of Qian Xuesen's birth. The library has a total land area of 9,300 square meters and a total construction area of 8 1.88 square meters, with one basement and three floors above ground. Chen Zhan covers an area of about 3000 square meters. The basic display in the museum is divided into four parts: the founder of China's space industry, the pioneer of science and technology frontier, the demeanor of people scientists and the success of strategic scientists.

On February 2, 2004, 2065438, Qian Xuesen Library was awarded the advanced unit of Shanghai Patriotism Education Base 20 12-20 13.

Qian Xuesen Library refers to the Qian Xuesen Memorial Hall built in Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University. The basic exhibition of the museum is divided into two parts.

The founder of China's space industry, the pioneer of science and technology frontier, the demeanor of people scientists and the success of strategic scientists are four parts. There are more than 76,000 documents, manuscripts and books of Comrade Qian Xuesen, more than 500 precious pictures/kloc-0 and more than 700 physical objects. There are cultural facilities such as information hall, special exhibition hall and academic exchange hall in the museum.

Qian Xuesen Library is a national demonstration base for patriotism education, and will be built into a management center for Qian Xuesen's literature collection in kind, a research center for academic thoughts, and a publicity and exhibition center for scientific achievements and lofty spirit.

The overall architectural planning and design of Qian Xuesen Library is led by Professor He Jingtang, academician of China Academy of Engineering and designer of China Pavilion of World Expo. book

The whole museum is a Fang Ding-style ochre building, and the outer wall is engraved with the relief of Qian Xuesen's head. Designers use advanced technology and rely entirely on different texture densities of brick materials to express this relief, and successfully use "images" to meet the commemorative theme.

The design concept of "earthy feeling, rock-breaking" is adopted in the modeling of library buildings. On the one hand, the "founder's stone" implies that Qian Lao's heart is childlike feelings for the motherland; On the other hand, the architectural space scene of generate's missile in Cracked Stone symbolizes the great cause of Qian Lao's "two bombs and one satellite breaking the ground". The design scheme shows the square building volume with a simple and powerful image, and abstractly expresses the image of the Gobi wind erosion rock that Qian Lao dedicated his life with a straight square shape.
