Wuhan Yellow Crane Tower Travel Guide
The Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan is a must-see place in Wuhan, just like Tiananmen Square, the Great Wall in Beijing and the West Lake in Hangzhou. The Yellow Crane Tower has become a landmark tourist attraction in Wuhan. Some people say that a building is not worth visiting. Bian Xiao thinks there is a saying that is right. He will regret going to Wuhan, but not more. In short, since he is in Wuhan, let's go and have a look ~ The following small series brings you something about the Yellow Crane Tower.

When going straight to the Yellow Crane Tower, we decided to take the train and get off at Wuchang Railway Station. But when it comes to the railway station, we have to mention Hankou Railway Station. Hankou Railway Station is the largest European-style railway station in China. If you have friends who especially like European architecture, Hankou Railway Station is also a good place that Wuhan can't miss except Italian style street.

In contrast, Wuchang Railway Station looks a bit old. Once you get off the bus, if you are not tired, the tour can begin. Here, blood and tears remind everyone that you must not rush to Wuhan in June, July and August. The sun in dog days is no joke. I suggest you go in March, April and May in spring. Everything is revived, and cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the campus of Wuda University. It's beautiful to enjoy cherry blossoms on the green land. The Yellow Crane Tower has the reputation of "the first building in the world". In the Tang Dynasty, Cui Hao wrote the famous poem Yellow Crane Tower with the Yellow Crane Tower as the carrier. It is a 5A-level scenic spot in Wuhan, so just like "You are not a hero until you reach the Great Wall", you must visit the Yellow Crane Tower when you arrive in Wuhan. The Yellow Crane Tower is open from 8 am to 6 pm, with one adult ticket for 70 yuan and one summer or winter vacation student ticket for 40 yuan, but you need to bring your student ID card in advance.

It has five entrances, East Gate, East Gate, Southeast Gate, West Gate and South Gate. Because the Yellow Crane Tower is not far from the railway station, after packing our things, we rode through Shouyi Campus of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law to Wuluo Road. Because it is a trip for two people, I choose to travel by bike. I can take a walk on campus if I want. Although it is not big, it is quiet and comfortable. Wuluo Road can pass through many scenic spots, such as the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of 1911 and the former site of Hubei Provincial Library. Because we wanted to go directly to the Yellow Crane Tower, we only stopped to take a few photos. However, if any friends are interested in history, I strongly recommend the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911.

If you want to reach the Yellow Crane Tower quickly, it is recommended to enter the scenic spot from the East Gate 2, and you will pass a gourmet shopping street along the way. You can take a break and eat something, save your strength and get to the point. If you want to visit all the buildings carefully, it is recommended to enter the scenic spot from the west gate. There are few detours along the way, so you can go directly to see various scenic spots. Besides the Yellow Crane Tower, we recommend the following places worth visiting: Stop Pen Pavilion, Cui Relief, Sheshan Baiyun Pavilion, Ci Pavilion and Goose Pond. The first is Sheshan Baiyun Pavilion. Baiyun Pavilion, located at the top of Gaoguan Mountain in Sheshan, is an excellent place to watch the Yellow Crane Tower, Sheshan Mountain and the Yangtze River. Be able to look at the overall situation and appreciate the magnificent overview of the Yellow Crane Tower Scenic Area.

Baiyun Pavilion is the writing point of the poem "Yellow crane does not return to the world, white clouds do not fly", which is highly recommended. Then go straight to see Cui Hao's relief poems. Cui Hao's relief painting is regarded as an art that integrates poetry, calligraphy, painting and printmaking.

Yellow Crane Tower, located in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, at the top of the Snake Mountain, near the Yangtze River, is a landmark building in Wuhan; It was founded in the second year of Wu in the Three Kingdoms (223) and rebuilt many times in the past dynasties. The existing building was designed with Tongzhi Building in Qing Dynasty as the prototype, and was rebuilt by 1985. It is famous for the poem Yellow Crane Tower written by Cui Hao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. Since ancient times, it has had the reputation of "the best scenery in the world", and it is also called "the three famous scenic spots in Wuhan" with Qingchuan Pavilion and Guqintai, and "the three famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River" with Yueyang Tower in Hunan and Wangtengting Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi. It is the first of the top ten scenic spots in Wuhan, one of the four famous buildings in ancient China and one of the top ten famous historical and cultural buildings in China, and is known as the "first building in the world".

The main building of the Yellow Crane Tower is an octagonal structure with reinforced concrete frames on all sides. It is 5 1.4m high, 30m wide at the bottom and 18m wide at the top. It has five cornices, a cushioned roof, covered with golden glazed tiles, supported by 72 columns, and 60 upturned corners on the upper floor. There are bronze cranes, pagodas, archways, pavilions and other buildings outside the building. The whole building looks like a yellow crane, spreading its wings and flying. Plaques are hung on all sides under the eaves, and a gold plaque with the inscription "Yellow Crane Tower" by calligrapher Shu Tong is hung on the front.
