Walking into this place, you will be surprised to find that the architectural style here is so similar to that of the old streets in Japan. Yes, this place is closely related to the history of Japanese aggression against China. After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, Japan obtained part of the management rights in southern Liaoning, and 19 18 established Angang, which is now Angang. In order to solve the housing problem of senior management in Angang, the Japanese began to build Otmachi in 19 19. At first, only 17 villas were built here, and 82 villas or bungalows were built from 1932 to 1937. At that time, there were all kinds of facilities here, such as swimming pool, baseball field, volleyball court, children's playground, tennis court, library, police station and even an advanced bomb shelter, which was equivalent to a small city.
Although the buildings here are quiet and comfortable, during the Japanese invasion of China, Otmachi was a playground for Japanese to ride on China's head. Their original intention of building Otmachi was evil, and they wanted to rule China for a long time.
After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Otmachi remained intact and became the residence of the main leading cadres in Anshan and Angang. Now it has become a provincial historical and cultural protection block, in order to let people never forget that humiliating history.
