Are there "wet" planets? For example, the moon seems to have a lot of water, but we used to think it was a "dry" planet. However, is there water on the moon? This question seems to have been answered long ago. After all, it has been a long time since man landed on the moon. But in fact, the task list of finding water on the moon has never been crossed off the task list of space exploration.
On July 2 1969, Apollo 1 1 landed on the surface of the moon, and Armstrong became the first man to land and walk on the moon. That famous saying is also full of human desire to explore the moon: "This is a small step for individuals, but it is a big step for mankind." Then, humans and the moon are not "out of touch" in this respect-the first batch of lunar surface samples weighing 2 1.6 kg were brought back to Earth. But it is because of these samples that "the moon is dry" has become people's knowledge.
There is no water in the sample-this is the conclusion drawn by scientists at that time. Scientists have done a lot of experiments on the moon samples brought back by Apollo 1 1, but the shadow of water has never appeared. Then came to a strange conclusion: "Although the moon looks like the earth with many oceans and lakes, there is not a drop of water in these oceans.".
However, scientists have not given up looking for water. Many things happen. With the deepening of research, scientists gradually found traces of water. In 2009, Science magazine published relevant research, and scientists discovered for the first time that hydroxyl, an important component of water molecules, existed on the moon. At the same time, scientists also found that the water content on the moon is much lower than that in the Sahara desert. This year's "Chang 'e V" lunar probe also found relevant evidence. On the moon, every discovery of water attracts people's attention.
Scientists are so keen on finding water on aliens because water is too "heavy" in interstellar travel. Why is it "heavy"? On the one hand, water is too heavy to be compressed, so it is impossible to carry a lot of water in space navigation. Spaceships and space stations in various countries have set up water circulation systems to maximize the reuse of water resources. On the other hand, water is very important for space navigation. In addition to maintaining the survival of astronauts, water can also be decomposed into hydrogen and oxygen, which can be used as fuel for spacecraft flight for astronauts to breathe.
More importantly, life is inseparable from water. This importance is not only to drink water when you are thirsty, but also because water is the medium of almost all biochemical reactions in the body, and it is also a participant in important biochemical reactions such as digestion. At the same time, the development of modern society and science and technology is also inseparable from water. As we all know, water is needed for growing grain, raising livestock, producing grain and generating electricity and heating, but in fact, water plays a greater role in many places than you think: concrete in Gai Lou needs water to solidify, high-pressure water jet cutting has been widely used in industrial fields, and there are water harps that need to be played with water.
Are there many such important and somewhat "simple" substances on the earth? It seems like a lot, but the water resources available to human beings are very limited. Although 7 1% of the earth's surface is water, the fresh water reserves account for less than 3% of the world's total water, and most of them belong to solid glaciers, which are distributed in mountainous areas and north and south poles that are difficult to use. Some fresh water is buried deep underground and difficult to exploit. Although China is a big country with water resources, its per capita fresh water resources are only a quarter of the world's. In cities rich in water resources, the preciousness of water seems to have been forgotten by us. But when we look at water-deficient areas, the importance of water may be noticed again.
In 20021year, "Green Future" also launched the "One Glass of Water Agreement" environmental protection public welfare activity in Yan 'an, Shaanxi Province, and built a set of drinking water devices for nearly 100 local children.
The total amount and per capita possession of water resources in Shaanxi Province are very low. Especially in northern Shaanxi, which is located in the Loess Plateau, the precipitation is less and concentrated in summer, and the local people suffer from seasonal water shortage. In cold winter and early spring, drinking water can only rely on the water stored in the reservoir.
Although water stored for a long time is easy to deteriorate and is not good for health for a long time, local people have no better choice. In the attic primary school in Yichuan county, Yan 'an, northern Shaanxi, children often don't wash their faces for several days or even wash their feet all winter in order to save water and drinks.
In order to let the children in attic primary school drink clean water, on March 22nd, 20021,on the 29th World Water Day, the "Green Future" environmental public welfare platform and shells entered the attic primary school with the promise of a glass of water. According to the local characteristics, the platform has formulated a set of targeted water purification schemes. Under the guidance of the platform, volunteers personally dug aqueducts for the children, laid anti-freezing pipes in winter, and installed a series of drinking water projects such as pumps and water purification devices.
This whole set of drinking water project allows every child to use a new cup and drink pure water, which is also the tenth primary school to benefit from the "promise of a glass of water" activity. With these drinking water projects, the drinking water needs of nearly 100 children in attic village primary school can be met. Children can drink clean and safe water even in winter when water is extremely scarce.
Not only that, the platform also specially invited the scientific girl shell sauce with fruit shell, which brought a lesson on water environmental protection for children. In interesting and knowledgeable classes, children are taught knowledge of water environmental protection through interesting scientific experiments, so that children can establish good habits of saving and loving water, learn to look at and solve environmental problems with a scientific eye, and gradually establish environmental awareness.
This environmental protection activity with the theme of "the agreement of a glass of water" also kicked off the 202 1 series of environmental protection activities.
Also focusing on water resources protection, the "green future" in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province is a Fenhe River protection action to "defend the mother river". The platform leads college students, primary school students and volunteers to collect garbage for the mother river, and invites local experts to share scientific knowledge of water quality testing for them. Let them not only feel something in the activity, but also gain something.
In Weihai, Shandong Province, "Green Future" invited botanist Mr. Gu and shell co-founder Orange to take their children to participate in the "Action for Blue" environmental protection activities to jointly protect the marine ecology. Teacher Gu also gave the children an interesting popular science class, so that the children could learn useful scientific knowledge in the activities.
On the beach in Weihai, "Green Future" led volunteers and children to pick up garbage on the beach, which not only really felt the impact of human activities on marine ecology, but also personally felt the happiness brought by environmental protection activities.
In Xiamen, Fujian, "Green Future" is a marine environmental protection public welfare activity specially designed for "protecting mangroves". Not only led volunteers to personally clean up the coastline garbage, but also planted 400 mangrove saplings.
Mangroves can not only fix sand, protect beaches and eliminate waves with strong roots, but also provide good habitats for all kinds of creatures in beach ecology. They are the precious Great Green Wall by the sea. In the wonderful practical activities, the children also learned valuable knowledge of wetland ecological management.
Three generations of "six elders" of Barboucha Forest Farm in Gulang County, Gansu Province took root in Tengger Desert, turned the desert into an oasis, and were awarded the honorary title of "model of the times". During the activity, the platform once again joined hands with the "six elders" to spread a message, not only casting a green protective wall for the "children beside the desert" by hand, but also deeply feeling the hardships of three generations in relaying sand control and their sense of responsibility for ecological environment protection.
Kubuqi sand control model has become a model of ecological management. During this trip, the platform carried out practical education in Hangjinqi, led volunteers into the local environmental protection department, learned about grass-roots environmental protection work, felt the achievements of desert greening, learned the experience of sand control, and strengthened the sense of responsibility and mission of sand control through visits and field visits.
In the field of resource recycling, "Green Future" focuses on children's environmental education. In Guizhou, together with Liu Fang, the "most beautiful struggler", a library was built for children in mountainous areas, which is also the sixth environmental protection public welfare library that the "green future" collapsed.
The library is full of idle books donated from all over the country, which will build a knowledge bridge to the outside world for more than 70 local/KLOC-0 students. These love books can not only enrich the spiritual world of mountain children, but also make everyone who participates in donating books feel the spirit of low carbon and environmental protection.
The "Green Future" of guixi city Experimental Primary School in Jiangxi Province also renovated a brand-new reading room for local students, and guided the children to establish the concept of loving nature and saving resources through a series of interesting interactive activities on environmental protection.
202 1, the "Green Tour" covered nine provinces in China, focusing on typical environmental protection problems in China, held nine themed environmental protection activities, led more than 500 volunteers to participate in the themed environmental protection activities, and directly benefited more than 3,200 children.
In the colorful environmental protection public welfare activities, "Green Future" not only brought positive influence to many participants, but also conveyed the concept and spirit of environmental protection to more people through activities. During the activity, everyone can learn a lot of environmental protection knowledge, establish environmental awareness, and adhere to environmental protection after the activity, becoming a disseminator, practitioner and beneficiary of environmental protection spirit.
This is also the core of the public welfare model of "everyone participates, everyone spreads and everyone benefits" that "Green Future" has been promoting.
In the future, the "Green Future" will link more forces and launch more different types of environmental public welfare activities. Attract more people to participate in environmental protection activities with richer and more diverse environmental protection content and innovative breakthrough mode, so that everyone can become a participant, disseminator and beneficiary of environmental protection public welfare.
