Zhangjiajie College Library was established in 20 12, with a total construction area of 184 16.8 square meters, and officially put into use in 20 13. The library is located in the campus by the river, with open terrain, beautiful surrounding environment and quiet and comfortable interior, which is an ideal place for students to study. There is a general service desk, a general information desk, a retrieval desk, a professor's bookstore, a local literature room, an electronic reading room, a book lending room, a study room, an audio-visual room, a multifunctional lecture hall, a conference room, a reception hall, a studio and a reader exchange and leisure area. There are 14 reading rooms, 5 study rooms and postgraduate study rooms, and more than 300 computers, which can accommodate more than 3,000 people at the same time. At present, the library has full-time librarians 19, including 4 graduate students, 6 associate professors 1 person, 6 with intermediate or above titles and 8 with undergraduate degrees. There are more than 70 student assistant librarians. The library consists of five management organizations: office, resource construction department, circulation and reading department, information technology service department and student volunteer library association. At present, the library is rich in collections, complete in categories, diverse in carrier forms and distinctive in characteristics. The collection of literature covers science, engineering, agriculture, law, literature, management, economics, teaching and medicine, and paper books are combined with digital resources.
