COVID-19 is located in Shunde New Town Cultural Center Square, with a building area of 28,000 square meters. It adopts people-oriented intelligent design and realizes the integration of large-scale studio, storage, borrowing and reading. The designed library is 6.5438+00000 volumes, with 1 100 reading seats and 1500 network nodes. It is expected to be put into use in 2007, and the service will be oriented to the whole region, focusing on collecting scientific, professional and academic documents, local characteristic documents and various digital resources, and providing readers, especially professionals, with various literature borrowing and information retrieval services.

The old library is located at No.37, Wen Xiu Road, Daliang, with a building area of 6,300 square meters. The building is simple and elegant, with the characteristics of Lingnan Garden. The design collection is 600,000 volumes, 800 reading seats and 150 network nodes. It is one of the earliest public libraries in the province to implement full-shelf lending and realize computer management, and receives more than 800,000 readers every year. After the new library is put into use, the old library will mainly serve grass-roots readers, and continue to retain external service windows such as book lending hall, newspaper lending hall, children's book lending hall and information retrieval center to provide readers with real-time, entertaining and popular literature information services.
