The library has basically formed a multi-disciplinary document collection system and service system, which meets the needs of teaching and scientific research in various disciplines of Minnan Normal University. The library and the reference rooms of various departments complement each other and undertake the task of providing literature information service and literature resource guarantee for school teaching and scientific research. By the end of 20 12 and 10, the library had 2016,600 paper books, 2,274,400 e-books and more than 4,500 Chinese and foreign paper periodicals. There are 32 Chinese and foreign databases, such as China HowNet, Wanfang Dissertation Database, Founder Apabi Teaching Reference Database, Superstar Digital Library, SDOL, Springboard Electronic Journals, etc. The total storage capacity of digital resources is 38.3TB, including 8 databases: Minnan local cultural characteristics database, language special database Min Dialect, language special database English learning strategy, Zhangshi Library, Fujian-Taiwan ecological agriculture database, full-text interlibrary loan database, teaching reference book database and CD-ROM system attached with books.
