Jinan Library has successively won the honors of National Advanced Collective of Cultural System, National Advanced Reading Unit, Shandong Advanced Unit of Cultural System Reform and Shandong Advanced Unit of Cultural Information Resources Construction and Service, and has been rated as a provincial civilized unit for seven consecutive years. The National Reading Festival of Shuxiang Spring City won the "Stars Award" of the 10th China Arts Festival; Reading a good book in summer vacation, the mobile car library and the heavy truck cup won the first, second and third prizes of the Library Society of China "Classic Innovation Case of National Reading Promotion Activities"; "Successful Parents' Classroom" and "Car Mobile Library" were rated as the featured service brands of public libraries in Shandong Province. In addition, Jinan Library Society was awarded the honorary title of "National Model Society for Large and Medium Cities".
