At the opening ceremony, Yin read out the winners of the 15th Hunan Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award of Hunan University of Technology. Jiang presented prizes to Professor Liu Man, Professor He Yong who won the first prize and the professor who won the second prize. Yin presented awards to Dr. Lin Changqing, Dr. dr. zhang, Professor Luo Xinhe, Professor Yang Haihong and Professor Zhang Zongdeng who won the third prize.
Liu Wenliang, the award-winning representative, expressed deep gratitude to the school and colleagues for their help and support. He shared his scientific research experience from three aspects: diligence, cross-border and persistence. He said that there is no end to learning, and diligence can make up for it. All his research from undergraduate to postdoctoral, from lecturer to professor is strung together with an "ecological" line. This persistence enabled him to find cross-border fun, and thus achieved rich research results in the integration of ecological literature, ecological film and television, and ecological design. Liu Man said that today's achievements are the result of long-term cultivation and care of his alma mater. She is lonely and miserable on the road of scientific research, but she must be full of self-confidence and constantly surpass herself to gain something. She encouraged everyone with "Xiu Yuan is a long way to go, and I will go up and down" and looked forward to a better tomorrow of Hunan University of Technology.
Jiang extended warm congratulations to the award-winning teachers. He emphasized that the research work of philosophy and social sciences in Hunan University of Technology should strengthen the sense of mission, firmly grasp the political direction, improve the research level and highlight the role of think tanks. Philosophers and social sciences should write the chapter of the new era in the struggle, realize the value of life in the struggle, gain happiness in the struggle, produce more masterpieces and build more wise words, and make contributions to the key work of Hunan University of Technology, such as focusing on "new liberal arts", "double first-class" and the construction of doctoral degree awarding units.
After the opening ceremony, Jiang, Yin and representatives of teachers and students visited the exhibition hall on the second floor of the library, learned more about the achievements of each award-winning teacher, and had a cordial exchange with the award-winning representatives. On behalf of the school's philosophy and social workers, the Social Science Department donated the monographs of award-winning works to the school library, and jointly built the teaching and scientific research achievement library of Hunan University of Technology.
