Li Ding gave a brief account of the 5,000-year history of Chinese civilization with the title "A Civilization Crossing Time and Space Interprets Traditional Culture". After the news was reported by the media, many people were surprised by another role that Li Ding has been keeping a low profile: producer.

From 65438 to 0996, Li Ding, as the producer of Crossing Civilization Time and Space, released the first TV documentary in China that systematically reflected the traditional culture of China.

10 years later, today, Civilization Across Time and Space is still the first documentary in China to show Chinese civilization in the form of a large documentary, and it is also the first documentary in Ningxia to win the "Five Ones" project award. To this end, a senior editor of CCTV lamented: "So far, apart from Civilization Across Time and Space, no one has put Chinese civilization on the screen."

Li Ding said, "In fact, I knew nothing about the producer at that time, except that the producer was the one who paid. I thought it could be made into an educational film, but I didn't expect it to be made into an educational film suitable for all the people. The most difficult thing at that time was that the funds were not in place. Of course, the documentary also benefited from Kang Jianning, the famous director of Ningxia TV Station at that time, as the director of the film. That was the first time I worked with him and filmed for three years. "

From the initial conception to inviting Kang Jianning and others to join us, the publication of Civilization Crossing Time and Space embodies Li Ding's sweat and bitterness at every step.
