Eight retrieval machines are located in front of the book return desk in the lobby on the third floor, which provide readers with free information inquiry about the catalogue information of books and periodicals in the library, information inquiry about readers' related information (including renewing books and modifying the password of readers' ID cards), online book ordering inquiry (readers put forward suggestions for purchasing documents in the library), online information release, inquiry and renewal of storage boxes, inquiry and download of CDs attached to books, new book notification and other services.

The functions of the retrieval machine:

1. Bibliographic retrieval: that is, the library's bibliographic information query, which mainly retrieves the bibliographic data of Chinese and western books and periodicals circulating in the library.

2. My library: that is, readers' related information query, retrieval of readers' personal borrowing situation, overdue debts and other information; And you can apply for renewal.

3. Ordering consultation: that is, online book ordering consultation, where readers make reference suggestions for the library to purchase documents.

4. Information release: release readers' overdue debts and overdue reminders of books.

New book notice: Inform readers of the new book catalogue that has come to the library in the last month.

6. Internal services: including the inquiry and download of CDs attached with books and the inquiry of storage boxes.
