1950, the township was separated, 1983, the township was withdrawn to build a town, which was called Pingluo Town, and the town was under the jurisdiction of the village system. /kloc-0 changed its name to pingle town in March, 1993. In September, 2004, Qionglai implemented the division adjustment, cancelled the organizational system of Xiaba Township adjacent to Pingle, and merged the original administrative area of Xiaba Township.
