History of Changshu Library
Changshu Library was founded in 1899 (the 25th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty). Abandon the former site of Daoqian Sub-district Office and start construction (namely, the office of County People's Committee). 1937 (26 years of the Republic of China), the county government moved in, and the library also moved. At first, it was planned to move to the former site of Siwen Primary School in Xueyuan Lane. Later, it was not suitable to be close to the city, so it decided to move to the foothills of Shi Mei. 1937, the Japanese invaders occupied the territory, far away from the city, and the books were fortunate to be preserved. The owners of Bronze Sword Building are Qu Liangtu (), 192 1 Yingnan (Hong), 1923 Yi Zongzi Dai () 1923, Yu Ji () and 1927.
