Introduction of Shandong University:
Shandong University, referred to as Shanda for short, is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It is a comprehensive national key university, and ranks among the "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project", "World-class University (Class A) and First-class Discipline" universities. The school has eight campuses, including Qianfo Mountain, Baotuquan, Weihai, Qingdao, Hongjialou, Software Park, Xinglong Mountain and Central Campus.
Conditions for running Shandong University:
There are 44 first-class disciplines authorized by doctor's degree in Shanda, 1 for doctor's degree in two disciplines, 5 1 for master's degree, and 42 post-doctoral research stations, covering all disciplines except military science.

The special collection department of Shanda Library manages the special collection literature resources of the library. The Special Collection Department * * has more than 400,000 special collection documents, including more than 43,000 kinds of ancient books (including manuscripts, fine prints, rubbings, paintings, letters, songbooks, bibliographic ancient books and other precious special collections 1 654,38+0,000 kinds).
There are more than 64,000 kinds of books in the Republic of China, with 3 1 1,000 kinds. The main features are that there are many rare books and ancient books in Ming and Qing Dynasties, all local chronicles and ancient books, and the ancient books are rich in bibliography. Since the national survey of ancient books was launched in 2007, with the support of the leaders of schools and libraries, the Special Collection Department has traced back all ancient books, Republic of China documents and photocopied ancient books through the Huiwen system.
Database:
The library has built five national key discipline navigation databases and postgraduate dissertations databases, and participated in the construction of "university teaching information database", "joint catalog database" and "teaching reference book full-text database". The database of ancient books completed the retrospective construction and brief bibliography database, started the joint cataloging of CALIS ancient books, and published the rare books in Qilu Bookstore.
