Preparatory work:
The basic materials are: whiteboard (necessary for all tasks), post-it notes (for writing HMW), markers (in different colors), gel pens and printing paper (sketch &; 8 minutes), tape, dot stickers (for voting) can also be circled with mugs of different colors. Prepare snacks such as coffee and dessert (if there is the best).
Prepare the stage and set up a situation room, so that participants can have free time from 10am to 5pm every week. Invite decision makers and form expert teams (product, design, technology, operation, etc.). )
Day 1: Understanding (Map)
Briefly introduce the process of this sprint. Within 5 days, the team completed and understood-> Sketch-> Decide-> Prototype->; Test and complete the MVP design of products or services. (If the team members are unfamiliar with each other, introduce yourself a little)
Introduce the goal of our sprint: why do you want to do this project? If successful, what will happen after 6 months 1 year? Write down long-term goals;
What are the key nodes for asking questions and completing goals? What are the possible reasons for failure?
Draw a user experience map according to products and services.
Seek experts' opinions on products or services, and modify the goals, problems and user experience diagrams (usually adding or deleting links) according to suggestions.
According to the expert information or the previous link, ask what we should do. For example, if a technical expert proposes a service, it may need the help of an AI algorithm. The question that can be transformed is "How should we formulate an AI algorithm to solve the XX problem?"
Sort out and summarize the question of "how can we do it"
Vote for the most important questions on the user experience map.
The next day: sketch
Finding useful reference information is different from finding competitive products. Reference information here can be information in any product or service that can help solve tasks and problems.
Everyone takes turns to demonstrate the reference materials they have found and give you some inspiration to solve this problem.
Divide the user experience diagram of the whole service, if your goal and user experience diagram are large. You need to assign key nodes to some people.
Draw the solution of service with four drawing methods.
Take notes and record previous goals, problems, HMW and expert stories. (20 minutes)
Write down the idea of the solution, write as many ideas as possible, think alone, and then choose the one with the most potential. (twenty minutes)
Crazy for 8 minutes, make a list of your previous ideas, draw a plan, and come up with as many diffraction plans as possible. If an idea doesn't reach the scheme of 8 diffraction, you can sketch the next idea. It takes 1 minute to draw each sketch.
Choose a scheme from eight sketches to improve it and draw a complete story of this scheme. It can make your story easy for others to understand. You can put words on it to get an easy-to-understand title.
Recruit people for Friday's exam.
Day 3: Decision
In the art museum, the solutions are arranged on the wall according to the nodes of the user experience diagram, and all the staff will bring in scenes and problems to appreciate the solutions. Orderly arrangement is conducive to bringing in the user experience map.
Hot map, vote on the points in the scheme, or vote on the whole scheme. Voters each have 2 to 4 votes, and decision makers have 4 to 6 votes.
Speed decision-making, sorting out the scheme and the good points in the scheme, and quickly deciding what to do.
Draw the nodes of scene, user story and product experience diagram with shot script.
Day 4: Prototype
Choose the right tool as the prototype, and for the service, you need to simulate the whole service process in the form of role-playing. For APP products or web pages, you can use prototype tools, such as ink knives.
Make a prototype in groups, because the prototype may contain many users' contact points, and it is necessary to assign groups according to the points to be solved and the completeness of the whole process.
After the prototype is completed, the team members need to be assigned roles to simulate the most realistic scene. If you are the MVP of service, each role has its own responsibilities. If there are services that need to be outsourced, such as express delivery, you also need to "play" services that your team can't provide.
Design questionnaires and test procedures for Friday's test.
Day 5: Testing
Find the corresponding person to participate in the test through the portrait of the user you serve. In order to save costs, it can be someone who has not participated in the project discussion within the company.
Be sure to make users highly restore the experience, and don't let team members explain too much. If you explain too much, it will become guided marketing.
This is a design sprint. Design sprint may be a big problem or a small one. The success of sprint lies in solving problems through sufficient information and expert's professional opinions and democratic centralism in a short time.
