In the morning, I left the downtown area and came to the diamond hidden in the green bushes. Walking into the "Chai Fei", the courtyard is quiet, the flowers and trees are lush, and the Nandian bamboo on both sides of the path is neatly trimmed and crosses the small bridge, which is the main building of the former residence. Chi Pan weeping willows, a few plantains by the wall, and a quiet hairpin on the left must have been planted by the owner. The garden is full of flowers and the fragrance is intoxicating. In the north of the pool stands a bust of Mr. Li's white marble, which was carefully created by Mr. Li Lao's old friend and China sculptor.
Li was originally from Chengdu. On the evening of June 6, citizens 1939, 1 1 fled to the suburbs to escape the Japanese bombing, and Li and Li also escaped. Next to the water chestnut weir under the Lion Mountain, a mud wall with a thatched roof was built, surrounded by bamboo fences and fruit trees. 1959, Li Lao was paid for writing, and Ke Ling was renovated and transformed into a tile house.
Many years after Li's death, in 198 1 year, Ba Jin proposed to open it as a memorial hall of Li's former residence, which was renovated at the expense of the government and listed as a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Chengdu. This is also the first well-preserved exhibition hall of the former residence of historical and cultural celebrities in this city.
Ke Ling has a unique layout and a quiet environment. The main room is a low-rise building with one floor. In front of the 3-meter-wide profile, there is a row of grape racks. On both sides of the main hall are 1947 couplets written by the host during the Spring Festival: "It is easy to turn over the sea and turn over the water, but it is difficult to thank the peach blossoms in the thick spring." The spacious room upstairs used to be Mr Li's. The library now displays his collections of calligraphy and paintings by Zuo, Kang Youwei and Zeng Guofan. The pens and inkstones, seals, desk lamps, pocket watches and other items in the glass cabinet are all Mr. Wang's relics. There are also a large number of manuscripts created and translated by Li Lao for readers, as well as the French, English and Japanese versions of the trilogy, which are also displayed in front of the audience. The revised version of that big pile of big waves is meticulously written in beautiful fine print. You know, that's his handwriting when he is old! Seeing this, a feeling of reverence arises spontaneously.
Walking out of the showroom, I paid tribute to the photo of my husband hanging on the corridor wall. These precious historical materials reflect Li's family background and his study, work and writing life. Among them, he was in the same boat with revolutionaries such as Xu Teli and Xiang Jingyu, and went to France for work-study programs. He took photos of the battlefield when he went to the DPRK to express his condolences to the volunteers in the early days of liberation, and introduced his urban planning and construction in order to restore Chengdu's economy when he was the deputy mayor of Chengdu. 1987 10 13, 83-year-old Ba Jin, chairman of Chinese Writers Association, and famous Sichuan writers Zhang Xiushu, Sha Ting, Ma Shitu and other old friends came to visit Ke Ling, and color photos were also hung on the right side of the main entrance in the basement.
Mr. Li was deeply influenced by French naturalist and realistic writers Flaubert and Zola. After returning to China, he absorbed the nutrition of his own national culture and the local characteristics of Sichuan, wrote excellent novels reflecting the real life of China at that time, and became one of the three great writers in the history of new literature education in China. Li Lao devoted his life to literature. His translations are like forests, and his creations are rich. In particular, Dead Water, Big Waves Wasting the Sand and Before the Storm are known as China's "Modern Novel History" and Guo Moruo calls them "Huayang National Stories". These colorful scrolls, which reflect the history of the Revolution of 1911, have had a great influence at home and abroad and become rare treasures in China's new literature treasure house.
