The short story "Woodcarving of Antelope" was selected as a middle school textbook.
Zhang Zhilu is the first China children's literature writer to be selected as the "Son of the Orient" on CCTV (1997). His works have not only won awards at home and abroad, but also been adapted into movies and TV series, which are popular all over the country and have a wide audience.
