Li Bingnan (1889 ~ 1986) was born in Jinan, Shandong. Yan Ming, whose name is Bingnan, is Xue Lu. Secretary-general of the government of Confucius Temple, Duke of Feast. Beginners only know Mei Guangxi, and have studied Zen, Jing, Mi and so on. Later, he returned to the master of printing light and specialized in pure land. Besides, he is also proficient in Chinese medicine. During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he went to Chongqing with Kong Decheng to help Master Taixu spread Buddhism. Thick cloth lives in Taichung. In addition to still working in the official residence of Confucius, he is also a professor at China Medical College and Zhongxing University, and devoted himself to the promotion of Buddhism in his spare time. He has been teaching in Taichung for decades and is known as "Teacher Li" in the Buddhist circles of Taiwan Province Province. He has successively established Buddhist Lotus Society in Taichung, Bodhi Tree Magazine, Ciguang Library, Ciguang Nursery Home, Bodhi Hospital, Bodhi Relief Center and other charitable organizations to promote Buddhism. He died on1April 1986 13, at the age of 98.
