Organization of China Geological Library
China Geological Library is divided into business department and comprehensive management department according to different functions. Business departments include editing department, editing and circulation department, reading department, document information service department, research department and network department; The comprehensive management department consists of office, personnel department (Party Office) and finance department. China Geological Library, as the national geoscience documentation center, constantly strengthens the construction of websites and digital resources by using modern information network technology. By the end of 20 14, the library's self-built and purchased Chinese and foreign database resources 10 have been made available to units directly under the Ministry and Bureau. The name of the resource mainly introduces the China Geological Literature Database, which takes the periodicals and books collected by China Geological Library as the main data source, and includes the periodicals, monographs, compilations, conference proceedings and other documents of China's geoscience and land science and related contents. Full-text database of characteristic resources in collections This database is the result of digitization of characteristic resources in collections by China Geological Library based on Founder Apabi digital resource platform, including rare books, some monographs and academicians' works. By the end of 20 14, there were 50,000 books. The full-text database of VIP periodicals "VIP Full-text Periodical Database" contains more than 2000 kinds of Chinese periodicals/kloc-0 published in China over the years, with more than 30 million full-text articles and more than 40 million quotations, which are published in 8 volumes regularly. GSW Foreign Geoscience Electronic Journals This database is a non-profit organization established by seven top geoscience associations, aiming at providing researchers with the latest geoscience electronic information resources. PQDT is the largest and most widely used dissertation database in the world in recent four years. It contains abstracts and indexes of doctoral and master's dissertations from more than 0/000 universities in Europe and America, covering a wide range of fields such as science and engineering, humanities and social sciences, and is a very important reference information source in academic research. DOAJ Open Access Journals Full-text Database Catalogue (DOAJ) was established by Lund University Library in Sweden in May 2003. From the initial 350 journals to May 20 13, it has collected more than 9,000 open access journals and10.09 million articles. (Form source:)
