Traceability of Shejiang Middle School in Meixian County
Founded in 1905, the school has a long history and a large number of talented people, enjoying a good reputation at home and abroad. 19 19 when Li Jianjun was the principal, he mobilized rural sages to donate money to build the school. Later, he began to build a new school building under the Weiwei of Shejiang River. After several classrooms were built, he moved the senior class to the class, and the number of students increased to more than 100. In the early 1930s, some principals of Shejiang Public School planned to set up junior high schools, but they failed to do so because of difficulties in raising funds and many accidents in some places, resulting in some high and primary school graduates who could not afford to go to Meicheng for further study losing the opportunity to continue their studies. What a pity! 1937, Luo started a junior high school with more than 300 students after taking over as the principal. The name of the school was changed to "Shejiang Middle School", and Nanjing alumnus Huang Zhenqiu once asked the famous calligrapher Yu Youren to write the name of "Shejiang Middle School". At that time, overseas Chinese capital and social fund-raising were the main reasons for promoting learning and cultivating talents. Therefore, when Song was president, he went abroad to raise funds to improve the conditions of running a school, and received enthusiastic donations from many overseas Chinese, such as Yang, and successively built "overseas Chinese dormitory" and "overflow building", and expanded the campus through mergers and acquisitions, which improved the conditions of running a school.

/kloc-in the autumn of 0/945, Yang took over as the principal, and Shejiang Middle School was upgraded to a district office, renamed "Meixian District No.3 Middle School". The addition of high schools has enriched the teaching staff and teaching equipment, and the number of students has increased to more than 600, making it the first complete middle school in Meinan. In order to further improve the conditions for running a school, President Yang personally went abroad to raise funds during the period of 1946. At that time, many overseas Chinese in Singapore, Malaysia and other places gave generously to fund education. As a result, four classrooms on both sides of the "overflow building" were expanded, and a playground was opened up, enriching books, science, chemistry and biological instruments. At this point, the conditions for running Shejiang Middle School have gradually improved, and the school is also quite dynamic and widely praised. 1949, Meixian district was liberated, and the people's government appointed Huang Yuanqu as the principal to take over the third middle school, and the school was renamed "Shejiang Middle School in Meixian District". Since then, Shejiang Middle School in Meixian District of Meizhou City has taken on a new look and the weather is changing with each passing day. After liberation, successive principals have made unremitting efforts and contributions to the success of Shejiang Middle School. In addition to attaching importance to the school spirit and style of study and vigorously improving the quality of education and teaching, they also sought government funding and social fund-raising, expanded school buildings and beautified the campus, and sought government funding to build five bungalow classrooms, canteens, an assembly bungalow, a work-study dormitory and a podium. From 1980, under the leadership of Dean Xiong, Li Guohua, Ye, Sun Weiqiong, Liao Ruihui, etc. The government allocated funds to raise funds from overseas Chinese, alumni and rural sages, and built an office building, a library, a science museum, a reading pavilion, an east building, a west building (teaching building), a bungalow classroom and a team of teachers. In order to welcome the centennial celebration, under the leadership of President Liao, the school decided to build a landmark building-"Centennial Comprehensive Teaching Building", which is now under fund-raising construction. It is hoped that alumni and rural sages will carry forward the tradition of loving school and hometown, continue to donate money for education and contribute to the development of mulberry education.
