Assistant intern in library
Salary: 4,000 RMB per month.
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department is recruiting library assistants to provide vocational training for young people (aged between 15 and 24) who have completed Secondary Five or equivalent. The employment period is 12 months, and they will work in public libraries, book acquisition and cataloging departments or library offices under departments.
Admission requirements: Applicants must have Secondary Five education or equivalent, be able to speak reading chinese and English, and be fluent in Cantonese.
Responsibilities: Assist in book classification and shelving, new book inspection and envelope, book binding, book giving, general administrative affairs and participation in cultural promotion activities.
Terms and conditions of employment:
Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms.
Successful candidates can receive fringe benefits according to the Employment Ordinance, including rest days, statutory holidays (or in lieu of holidays), annual leave, maternity leave and sickness allowance.
Work ***44 hours a week (including meal time). (They should also be on duty in shifts or irregularly according to their work needs, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The actual working hours are arranged by the supervisor. )

Non-civil service positions are not positions in the civil service establishment. If the candidate is hired, he will not be hired according to the terms and conditions of civil service.
