Cut to the chase and introduce the national map.
I started from Zhang Zizhong Road subway station at ten o'clock in the morning, changed trains twice, and finally arrived at the National Library Station 36 minutes later. From the subway station exit A, there is the National Classical Museum located in the southern district of Guo Tu. Relying on the National Library, this first museum of rare ancient books in China has a unique advantage in collecting rare ancient books. There are a large number of ancient books and records of China in the museum, from the Oracle bones more than 3,000 years ago to the manuscripts of famous modern and contemporary writers, from Dunhuang suicide notes to rare western books. Many of the ancient books and records collected are national first-class cultural relics. It's a pity that the museum is closed on Monday, so you must come to see the national treasure next time.
The National Library of China is the largest library in China. No matter which of the four subway entrances of the National Library Station A, B, C and D, you can enter the national map from the entrances of different regions. The National Library is divided into the south library, the north library and the ancient books library. The South Library mainly collects books on foreign languages and comparative studies, while the North Library collects Chinese books. Of course, the North Library is more popular and has more people.
The security work of the national library is naturally stricter than the cultural space enjoyed by provincial and municipal libraries and cities. Personal books, drinks and food are not allowed to be brought into the library, and bags can be put in the storage room. The mobile phone requires mute, and photos are not allowed. I put my schoolbag in the bag storage room and brought my iPad, wallet and mobile phone with me. If you want to bring a computer, you must go to the bag storage office to get a black net computer bag to hold your computer, and then you are allowed to bring it in. You have to go through the same security check as the train station when you enter the door.
You can enter the reading room in Guo Tu by swiping your ID card, but it is free to apply for an ordinary reader card, so I made one as a souvenir, but the reader card in Guo Tu is not very beautiful. I followed the crowd into a reading room and swiped my card into the room. An aunt came in with her child and was stopped by the librarian. Like Nanjing Library, children have their own children's library and are not allowed to enter or leave other reading rooms. I feel gloomy in my heart, and finally there is no crying and slapstick of Xiong Haizi. There are too many kinds of books in the National Library, such as e-commerce, linguistics, biomedicine and so on. I haven't looked for a literature book for a long time. It is said that there are more than ten underground stacks here. Let me find out later.
The national map does not allow liquid drinks, and there are intimate pure water for readers to drink in the floor corridor. Drinking water containers are not common cylindrical disposable paper cups, but waterproof drinking water paper bags. After drinking the water, put it directly into the recycling box. Of course, if you bring an empty thermos, you can take some hot water to make tea or coffee, otherwise the paper bag really can't get hot water.
The most important criterion for considering a library is the quantity and value of its collections. It is the third largest library in the world with a history of 100 years. Stay in Guo Tu's reading room for less than an hour, and you will appreciate the rarity and richness of Guo Tu's collection.
Coming out of the reading room, I went to the cloister on the second floor. The books on the bookshelf by the wall are shocking. There are thousands of copies in each set of Shu Shu Quan in Siku, Wen Yuan Ku Quan Shu, Shu Shu Cun Mu Ye in Siku Quan Shu, and The Continuation of Shu Quan Shu. Of course, these precious books are invisible on other floors. There is a special book copying office here, where you can scan and print the required text materials by yourself.
I read a book in the dissertation reading room for a while, rested for 20 minutes, then took the elevator downstairs, got out of the elevator and went to the South District. I got it without any difficulty, and finally found the literature reading room. The big space is a circle. If you can't find it anywhere, turn around and fight.
The books in the literature reading room of the National Library are not carefully arranged according to genre and year like school libraries, and the collection focuses on "completeness". For example, Lu Xun's book has a special bookshelf, neatly filled with "Morning Flowers and Evening Picks" published by different publishing houses and reprinted by unified publishing houses in different years, so that readers can read their own versions.
Lao She's Teahouse is a classic of modern drama literature, and the national map also contains multiple versions of a bookshelf. But if you want to find other works of the same genre, such as works by Guo Moruo and Ding Xilin, it will be difficult. It is estimated that it is also difficult to balance the richness of books and the rapid selection of similar works. Even works of the same genre and era may need more detailed retrieval rules to find them. It's really overwhelming to see the collection of books in the National Library.
Considering a library, besides the quality of books, another important aspect is the learning atmosphere of reading space. I first sat in the dissertation reading room on the fourth floor, surrounded by several white-haired old people. My grandfather opposite me is reading a business newspaper with a rusty old pen in his hand, while patiently taking notes in his notebook. The lady with gold-rimmed glasses on the left is reading a modern poetry magazine, and her mind is focused. In the southern district, I sat in the middle area overlooking the whole maze from above, that is, the first floor of the reading space, opposite to three middle school students in Beijing No.8 Middle School, doing their summer homework.
Even if there are a few tired tourists lying in chairs to rest, it will not destroy the rigorous learning atmosphere of the national map, and everyone will devote themselves to reading without scruple and integrate into the torrent of knowledge of the national map. Even if the weather is hot and confused, take a book in Guo Tu's reading room, let the sunshine pour down from the skylight of the roof, let time flow through the ink, your heart will slowly relax, and the air around you will be full of new knowledge and pleasure.
Thousands of people are sitting here reading and seeking knowledge. You're just one of them. Personal loneliness and impetuousness are not worth mentioning. The huge national map is quiet and practical only when the air-conditioning fan rustles gently and the reader's footsteps and coughs occasionally. Just like China's image book itself, all rivers run into the sea, but quietly, with thunder in his chest and a calm face. ...
