Longnan Teachers College is a full-time normal college in Longnan. Its predecessor was Longnan Teachers College, which was merged from Chengxian Teachers College and Lixian Teachers College in April, 20001. Chengxian Teachers College was founded in 1937 and Lixian Teachers College was founded in 1973. 1997, Gansu Province decided to merge two normal schools to build Longnan Normal School. In April of 20001year, the newly-built Longnan Teachers College was established in the new campus. In June 2002, the school passed the standardized acceptance of secondary normal schools in the province and was identified as "Gansu Province Standardized Secondary Normal School". In April 2003, it was upgraded to Longnan Normal College with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Covering an area of 34 1 mu, with a construction area of more than 90,000 square meters, it has well-equipped teaching infrastructure such as teaching building, comprehensive science and technology building, administrative office building, library, student apartment, student canteen, staff residential building, standard track and field playground, 1 experimental school, and modern multimedia classroom, language laboratory, closed-circuit television teaching system and campus network. The fixed assets are 65,438+1100 million yuan, the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 7.73 million yuan, the book collection is 362,000, and there are more than 600 Chinese and foreign periodicals.
