Introduction of Handan Library
Handan Library is the only public library in Handan and the information center of Handan. The library was established in June 1978, and the library building was officially opened in June 1982, with an area of 6,000 square meters, 500 reading seats and a collection of more than 400,000 books. This museum was named "National First-class Museum" by the Ministry of Culture twice in 1999 and 2003. In 2009, the location of Handan Library will be included in the demolition scope of People's Square (tentative). 1 Handan plans to build Handan Culture and Art Center on the east side of the intersection of Renmin Road and fu tung street on 20 10. The library is located in the Culture and Art Center building. 1 City Pavilion, with 500 reading seats and 400,000 books. There are 867 Chinese and foreign periodicals, newspapers 1 10, a high-standard digital library, a multimedia electronic reading room 100 computers, and 30 sets of audio-visual reference rooms. All departments and offices have stepped into modern management. There are 52 employees, including 40 with college degree or above, with full senior title 1 person, 4 with deputy senior title and 22 with intermediate title.
