The resident identity card number is compiled according to the national standard of "Citizen Identity Card Number".
The ID number consists of 18 digits:
1. The first 6 digits are administrative division codes;
2. The 7th to14th digits are the birth date codes;
3. 15 to 17 bits are sequential codes;
4. 18 bit is the check code.
The number of the old resident ID card is 15 digits. After 2000, the original 7-digit and 8-digit year numbers were changed to full names, and the last digit was added with a check code. Once the resident identity card number is fixed, it will not be changed. The police station will add it to your account information. When you want to get a new ID card, it is the ID number of 18 digits.
