Brief introduction of Shenzhen University Library

Shenzhen University Library is located in the center of the campus teaching area, which is divided into two libraries: South Library and North Library. North Pavilion/KLOC-0 was completed in September, 1983, and/KLOC-0 was completed and put into use in June, 1986, with a construction area of 2344 1 m2. The South Pavilion has a building area of 25,000 square meters and was opened in May 2009. Over the years, our library has been aiming at serving the teaching and scientific research of the school, serving the society with a positive attitude, devoting itself to reform and opening up, and striving to build our library into a teaching and scientific research service center, an academic activity center, a second classroom for students and readers, and an open academic library. After years of work, remarkable achievements have been made. There is a staff with high professional quality and excellent library spirit, an automation system with independent property rights and more than 150 users. Our library has won many awards, such as the national advanced collective of university libraries, the first place in the total evaluation score of university libraries in Guangdong Province, the first place in computer application, the advanced collective of higher education in Guangdong Province and the advanced unit in Shenzhen.
