Analysis:

Thread binding is a stage in the history of book binding in China, and it is the binding form of paperback books which is closest to the modern meaning. Before online binding, the binding forms of books were Bao Beizhuang, butterfly, warp folding and so on. In real life and book collection, the previous binding form has long since withdrawn from the practical stage, but the thread-bound books still remain in the second-hand bookstore. As a symbol of ancient civilization, they have suffered from wind and dust and are revered by future generations.

Thread-bound books are folded in the same way as the bag back, and the main difference lies in the cover and binding method. The cover of a thread-bound book is not wrapped in a whole piece of paper, but the top one and the bottom one, with no spine. The binding method of thread-bound books is to poke the outside of the book, cut the spine, then punch holes in the edge of the spine and bind it with thread. From the Ming and Qing dynasties to the present, thread-bound books are bound with four eyes. Some use the method of wrapping corners to make the thread-bound books look solemn and generous, strong and not easy to spread. Some thread-bound books are also covered with book covers, which not only protects the thread-bound books, but also increases the aesthetic feeling of binding.
