1. Henan Police College is an ordinary college at the undergraduate level. The college was formerly a training course for security cadres of the Social Department of the Party Committee of Western Henan Province, which was established in February 1949. It has experienced the development period of Henan Public Security Cadre School, Henan People's Police School and Henan Public Security College.

2. Railway Police College is the only institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security in China to train railway police professionals. 1950 was founded in Beijing, formerly known as the Public Security Cadre School of the Ministry of Railways. The college moved to Shenyang, Shanghai, Xi and Tangshan successively, and moved to Zhengzhou, Henan Province on 1980. It was renamed Zhengzhou People's Police Cadre School of the Ministry of Railways, and later renamed Zhengzhou People's Police School of the Ministry of Railways and Zhengzhou Public Security Management Cadre College of the Ministry of Railways.
