The library of Henan University of Science and Technology is one of the most abundant libraries in western Henan. In the official LIS index released on 20 18 and the ranking of academic ability of libraries, the academic ability of the library ranks 22nd in the national undergraduate libraries.

The library consists of the main library of Kaiyuan Campus and the branch library of the old campus, with a total construction area of 86,700 square meters, of which the main library of Kaiyuan Campus has a construction area of 69,000 square meters. It adopts the campus * * * construction mode, has the function of Luoyang Science and Technology Library, and provides services for teachers, students and social readers at the same time, with an average daily readership of nearly 8,000 and an annual flow of more than 2.4 million.

Among them, staff 124 people, including 4 doctors, 2 doctors under study, 8 masters, 53 undergraduates, 4 full-time senior titles, 9 associate senior titles and 46 intermediate titles. It has 2.39 million paper documents, 6.5438+0.22 million e-books, 654.38+05 servers, 60TB storage arrays, 565.438+0 computers, 98 domestic and foreign databases and 5 self-built characteristic databases.

A comprehensive literature resource service system combining paper resources with digital resources, real resources with remote available resources has been formed. At present, it is the library with the richest collection in western Henan.
