Important public buildings have a great influence on the political, economic and production activities and the normal life of residents in a certain area. In order to restore its function as soon as possible after the disaster, the harm of fire to the building structure must be minimized. Therefore, it is stipulated that important public buildings should adopt the first and second fire resistance grades. (As stated in Article 5. 1.3 of the Building Code)
The distance between Class A and Class B workshops and important public buildings should not be less than 50m. (Building Rules 3.4. 1, 3.4.2)
The distance between Class A warehouse and important public buildings should not be less than 50m. (Building Rule 3.5. 1)
Except for the items in Item 6 of Class B, the fire prevention distance between Class B warehouse and important public buildings should not be less than 50m. (Building Code 3.5.2)
For important public buildings, the situation in different regions is not the same, so it is difficult to specify quantitatively. According to China's national conditions and the fire situation for many years, this article makes qualitative provisions on the possible consequences and effects of fire. Generally, it includes office buildings of party and government organs, large public buildings or crowded meeting places, large primary and secondary school teaching buildings and dormitories, important communication, dispatching and command buildings, radio and television buildings, hospitals, urban centralized water supply facilities, urban main power facilities and other supporting buildings or projects involving the lifeline of cities or regions. Important public buildings shall include the following contents:
1 office building of party and government organs at or above the prefecture level. ?
2 The number of peak users or seats in public gathering places such as gymnasiums, auditoriums, conference centers, cinemas, theaters, indoor entertainment places, stations and passenger stations exceeds 1.500. ?
Libraries with more than 500,000 books; Cultural relics, museums, exhibition halls, archives and other buildings above the prefecture level. ?
4. Communication, command and dispatch buildings such as postal buildings and telecommunications buildings above the provincial level.
Office buildings of financial institutions such as banks at or above the provincial level. ?
Open-air public gathering and entertainment places such as open-air stadiums and swimming pools with more than 5,000 users during peak hours. ?
7 primary and secondary schools with more than 500 users; Kindergartens, nurseries and rehabilitation facilities for the disabled with more than 200 users; /kloc-medical, health and educational buildings such as nursing homes, sanatoriums, outpatient buildings and inpatient buildings with 0/50 beds or more (if there is a fence, it is counted from the edge of the fence). ?
8. Other public buildings with a construction area exceeding 15000m2. ?
