The relocation and expansion project of Malipo County No.1 Middle School started in August 2008. After three years' efforts, the project was completed and accepted on February 24, 20 1 1, and officially put into use on March 24, 201/. The construction contents of the project include earthwork excavation and backfilling, the main campus project, and the municipal project of Gardener Community. County No.1 Middle School, Minzhong Middle School, Panlong Middle School and Douchidian Middle School moved into the new campus in March of 20 1 1, and the high school of Donggan Middle School was merged into the new campus in August of 20 1 1. The new campus after the merger of 2011118 was named "Malipo Ethnic Middle School". The school has 1 12 classes, including 60 classes in senior high school and 52 classes in junior high school. There are 5,896 students in school, including 3 1 15 senior high school students, 278/kloc-0 junior high school students, 365,438 boys, 2,748 girls and 2,000 ethnic minorities. Faculty 44 1 person. 20 1 1 year, 662 middle school students took the college entrance examination, 656 students reached the minimum admission control line, and the online rate was 99. 1%. Among them, 442 people reached the minimum control line of undergraduate admission, and the undergraduate online rate was 66.77%; 37 people reached the minimum control line for admission to key universities; 2 14 people reach the lowest control line of college admission.
The relocation and expansion project of County No.1 Middle School has been completed and put into use, which can basically meet the needs of the county's high school enrollment scale expanding year by year. Malipo County has achieved the integration of "six schools and seven points" (County No.1 Middle School, Minzhong Middle School, Panlong Middle School, Douchidian Middle School, No.1 Middle School, No.2 Middle School and Donggan Middle School) according to the development goal of "high schools are concentrated in counties and junior high schools are concentrated in key towns", and all ordinary high schools are concentrated in ethnic middle schools, which has important practical significance for improving comprehensive school-running ability, educational level and healthy development of education. At the same time, it has accumulated successful experiences of "running big schools in small counties" and "running big schools in poor counties" for the whole state and even the whole province.
