Seven Views by Liu Xin in the Western Han Dynasty is the first comprehensive book classification catalogue in the history of China. The book is divided into seven categories: Compilation, Six Arts, hundred schools of thought, Poetry and Fu, Military Literature, Numerology and Magic. Outline is a general academic brief history written before six compendiums. The "seven laws" are actually divided into six categories. Qilue has a far-reaching influence on the later development of book taxonomy and bibliography. The original book was lost at the end of the Tang Dynasty, and Ban Gu in the Eastern Han Dynasty compiled the History of Art and Literature based on the Seven Laws, from which we can learn the general situation of the Seven Laws. Yao Zhenzong and others compiled it in Qing Dynasty.
