On July 23rd, the signing ceremony of Jiyang Campus of Shandong Cai Ying Vocational and Technical College was held in Jiyang County. The project is located in Cuizhai Town at the southernmost tip of Jiyang County, with a total investment of 250 million yuan and a building scale of 6,543,800 square meters. It will be built in three stages. Among them, the construction area of the first phase project is 60,000 square meters, including 20,000 square meters of teaching building, 25,000 square meters of dormitory building, 8,000 square meters of library building and 4,000 square meters of dormitory building for staff, as well as supporting facilities such as university student activity center, canteen, supermarket, track and field, boiler room, water room and bathroom. Construction started this year and will be completed and put into use in August next year. The campus has seven majors, including agricultural technology and management, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and horticultural management. Enrollment will begin next summer, with more than 5000 students. The settlement of the campus will further promote the integration process between Jiyang County and the urban area and accelerate the implementation of the provincial capital's "North Span" strategy.
